Clean Dhaka Green Dhaka

Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP) is the most renowned name in the field of waste management in Bangladesh. No other organization has been proven more effective in this sector than Association to Assist the Under Privileged   Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP). Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP) has collaborated with JICA and Dhaka City Corporation and several other significant organizations. Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP) established several mini waste transfer stations throughout the metropolis. The ward no 04, 07, 14, 16, 40, 45, 58 are undercover of mini waste transfer stations it by Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP). Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP) built mini waste transfer stations in these important points for the proper disposal of the waste and to make a clean Dhaka green Dhaka. Not only this, several nurseries were built alongside the waste transfer stations for making the city green and for this significant work Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP) received the Community and Private Initiative' award as the best organization jointly held by Dhaka City Corporation and JICA in 2008. Our national professor Dr. MR Khan were present as a chief guest in the inauguration ceremony of setting up 5 Mini Waste Transfer Station in Mirpur, Dhaka; organized by Association to Assist the Under Privileged(ASAUP). Then, He has admired and certified our organization. “He said to our organization that Association to Assist the under Privileged (ASAUP) is a non-government, non-political & non-profitable organization which is working on solid waste management under Dhaka City Corporation. It also established Mini Transfer Stations in different areas of the city. It is indeed a great establishment for creating healthy environment in the metropolitan areas. He was very glad to know that this organization was awarded best community and private Initiative award in clean Dhaka award contest in 2008 Jointly organized by Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) and Japan International cooperation Agency (JICA). Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Global vice President and Country Director of The Hunger project has admired and certified Association to Assist the Under Privileged (ASAUP) for setting up 14 waste transfer stations to ensure the proper management and disposal of waste. Munshi Bazlul Baset Anzu, Commissioner, Ward No-7, Dhaka City Corporation has also admired this great initiation and wished success and active role of the organization in further participations.
